Instructor Commitment

At Pass Point Driving School, we are committed to providing you with:

A clean, well-maintained, and fully roadworthy dual-controlled vehicle for all lessons.Professional, polite, and presentable instructors.A smoke-free environment during lessons.A commitment to equal opportunities, ensuring no discrimination based on race, color, gender, sexuality, or any other personal characteristic.

Driving Test Policy

Your instructor reserves the right to withhold their vehicle for your driving test if they believe you are not ready.

If your test needs to be rescheduled, your instructor will give you at least five working days' notice unless your booking was made with less than five days' notice.

If your instructor becomes unavailable due to illness or other reasons at short notice, we will do our best to provide an alternative instructor, but this cannot be guaranteed.

In case the instructor’s car is deemed unfit for your test, we will do our best to arrange a replacement vehicle. However, identical vehicles may not always be available, especially at short notice.

Payments to Your Instructor

Payments made directly to your instructor in cash or via bank transfer are strictly between you and the instructor. If any issues arise, please reach out to Pass Point head office for assistance.

It is your right to request a receipt for any payment made to your instructor, especially if paying in cash. Should you need a receipt, notify us immediately following the lesson.

Pass Point cannot be held responsible for cash or bank transfer payments made directly to instructors. The safest way to protect your payments is by paying Pass Point through bank transfer.

If you paid Pass Point directly, we will ensure any refund or partial refund due is processed based on the nature of the complaint and the remaining lessons.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel a lesson, a minimum of 24 hours' notice must be given to your instructor. Failure to provide this notice may result in the full lesson fee being charged or a prorated fee for block bookings.

Students must present a valid UK provisional driving license before their first lesson. Failure to do so entitles the instructor to cancel the lesson within 24 hours, and you may still be charged.

Pass Point is not liable for lesson cancellations due to mechanical breakdowns, illness, or other emergencies such as bereavement. While we will try to arrange for a substitute instructor or vehicle, this is not guaranteed.

Pricing & Offers

Pass Point reserves the right to update pricing and offers at any time. Prices may vary based on location, time, and whether you're learning in an automatic or manual vehicle. Prepaid lessons are honored at the time of purchase, but the first lesson must be taken within six months of the purchase date.

Student Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Any personal information collected is used solely to provide the services you request and is kept confidential. In some cases, your information may need to be shared with third parties to deliver these services. For further details, refer to our Privacy Policy.

Mechanical Faults & Vehicle Damage

In the event of an unavoidable mechanical fault during a lesson, any remaining time will be carried forward to your next lesson. If that is not possible, a partial or full refund for the unused lesson time will be offered.

If damage to the vehicle occurs due to student error, time spent addressing the issue will count toward the lesson. For example, if the student damages a tire by hitting the curb, the time spent fixing it will be deducted from the lesson. No additional charges will be applied for the damage itself, only for the lost time.
